Pro Tips
1.) Connect to all your receivers before your first game
Change each receiver to a primary receiver and connect to it using the Perfect Play app, even if you don't intend on using all receivers as primaries. This establishes connections between the receivers and app so that there is no lag when connecting during games when numerous devices are in range. If connections aren't established ahead of time and there are too many devices nearby, the app can have a hard time finding and connecting to the receivers.
2.) Backup your plays
After connecting to your receivers and entering in your plays in the Perfect Play app, export/download your plays in settings. You can then send that file to other coaches so they can load them in the Perfect Play app on their device. This also covers you in case you accidentally delete your internet browsing data. Doing so will also delete your plays but you can easily retrieve them by importing your backup file. Lastly, the backup file restores your connected receivers so that the app can quickly locate them.
3.) Educate Players on the receiver
a.) Teach them how turn the receiver on and off in the rare event a receiver freezes (the receiver screen will be partially cut-off and show as Paired and the Perfect Play app will show it as disconnected). Hold the Pwr button for 7 to 10 seconds to turn the device off and wait a few seconds and then hit the Pwr button to turn it back on. Altogether it takes roughly 20 to 30 seconds.
b.) Teach them how to switch the recievers between primary and secondary mode (click the Boot button until the devices displays a screen that it's switching modes).
4.) Have a plan B
It's rare for the Perfect Play system to let you down but in a world of contact sports, things happen. Have a plan if a receiver goes down, whether that be switching another receiver to primary or reverting to signaling.
